@yage, this may simply be a function of the movie soundtracks that you are playing through the player are encoded to disc at 24/48. That's how all of mine have been on the Vanity103 and appears to be the case with the vast majority of movie encodes to disc. There may be exceptions for some discs, but they seem to be pretty rare. I echo the 24/192 outputs as others have shared above. It would be nice to use a regular AES/EBU cable instead of having to make or have made the current cable going from two RCA to AES/EBU, but that doesn't seem feasible given the analog output board's layout. Rather than creating a new thread, I thought I would piggyback on this one. Is there any problem using the Vanity103 HD board in conjunction with an external stereo DAC that also contains advanced circuitry devoted to clock management and VCXO clock regeneration? What are the advantages and disadvantages of having two devices devoted to the endeavor? Specifically wondering about the Schiitby zonto - Vanity103HD & Lite (discontinued)
