Could I still input HDMI into my processor so that I could use it's dacs for center, subs, and surrounds while using the Vanity board to feed my outboard dac. The outboard dac would cover the front two channels while the pre-pro played the other channels. Would this work or would there be issues with delays in sound?

Hello Karl,
All outputs remain functional with the Vanity93 module installed. You can use HDMI concurrently with the limitation of SACD playback, when high quality DSD to PCM conversion is available only with HDMI audio disabled. Please see more details in the user manual. There shouldn't be any issues with delays as the fifo buffer in the Vanity93 is very small and channel delays can be fine tuned in the speaker setup in the player's menu.
